megapixel 3-MOS imagers and a 20-bit Digital Signal Processor to acquire

Offering a wide 28mm to 588mm (35mm equivalent) 21X HD lens with 3 independent adjustable rings, the HPX250 covers most shooting situations without the need for a wide-angle conversion lens.The 21X lens also features an Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) function that ensures stable images during shooting.
The
HPX250 offers variable frame rate capability in 1080p up to 30fps as
well as 720p up to 60fps for undercranking/overcranking to create fast
or slow-motion effects.

image quality is also enhanced by a new high-performance digital signal
processor (DSP) featuring 14-bit A/D conversion and 19-bit inner
processing. Equivalent to the processors used in many higher-end HD
cameras, this new DSP ensures precise, beautiful recordings in all video
formats. Because the HVX200A scans at native 1080P for the initial
picture processing, users get the highest level of vertical resolution,
whether shooting in HD or SD.
The AG-HPX170 is an ultra-mobile P2 HD handheld camcorder
featuring full, 4:2:2 independent frame production quality HD and
solid-state recording. Based on the AG-HVX200 series, the lighter HPX170
is fully solid state (no DV mechanism), and comes with a host of
enhancements including a new 1/3" progressive 3-CCD imager system, wider
Leica Dicomar 13X lens, an HD-SDI interface, metadata input and
